This past January of 2011, Studio West Dance Theatre was established to create a performance division for our dance academy. SWDT's mission is to establish a ballet company that operates with the highest of standards of beauty, artistry, uniqueness, and professionalism in dance.
Performing is a vital element for a young dancer's growth and SWDT presents two full length ballets a year, participates in dance festivals and host's the annual Charity Gala: Dance to Make a Difference. This year, SWDT's Charity Gala raised $2500 for the Mercy Corps, a relief aid to Japan, and the Northwest Harvest.
